What’s it like to work with me?
My approach to practice is about helping my clients to live independent, resilient, and successful lives. I take every opportunity to engage my clients with where they’re at by adjusting my technique to meet the individualized needs of each person I work with. Not everything works for every person, and that’s totally fine!
I'm comfortable with having those uncomfortable conversations. If you want to work through something heavy, let's do it! If not, that's fine, we'll keep it light! These sessions are about you and your needs. I offer an open and compassionate space where you’re the expert of your lived experiences.
I get that life can be hard & asking for help can be even harder.
While therapy can be challenging, it’s also a transformational practice for anyone willing to put in the work. Balancing life responsibilities and working on yourself takes a lot of effort. I hear you and I’m here for you! It’s my job to help you grow and move towards meeting those therapy goals.
I like to provide a safe and secure environment where people feel relaxed and open while they learn about self and work through whatever is on their minds. My work is centered around empowering my clients to create growth and healing where you can become the best version of you.
I value the diverse backgrounds of each of my clients, respecting their worldviews and life experiences. I believe that all people are unique and are capable of healing their mind, body, emotions, and relationships. Sometimes we need some extra support to get us there!
A little more personal.
In my spare time, I love going for walks and taking my pupper, Bella to the dog park (see photo below). I’m passionate about attending yoga classes each week! I believe it's important to be in community with others while incorporating that mind-body connection through a variety of joyful and difficult movements. I love a good challenge!
I enjoy time to myself by listening to music and journaling. That “me time” is so important. I enjoy spending time with loved ones, especially when it involves one of my favourite activities, which is trying out a new restaurant!
