ONLINE THERAPY IN RICHMOND HILL AND ACROSS ONTARIO
About Us
Wild Sage Therapy is a women-owned, online group practice built with Millennials and Gen Z in mind. Since 2018, we’ve supported clients in their 20s and 30s through life’s messier moments - helping them feel more grounded in the present, heal what’s holding them back, and find clarity for whatever comes next!
We’re passionate about seeing our generation thrive. This is a space where you can be real, feel seen, and grow at your own pace - with therapists who truly get it.
Meet Our Founder
Samantha Mirarchi
My own life experiences sparked my passion for helping others navigate this weird, messy, beautiful phase of life. Anxiety, low self-esteem, body image struggles, perfectionism, people-pleasing, anxious attachment, career stress - you name it, I’ve probably been through it or sat with someone who has. And I know how much it means to have someone in your corner through it all.
There’s so much growing that happens in your 20s and 30s - career, identity, relationships, breakups, family dynamics, future plans. It can get confusing real fast. You deserve a soft place to land. Somewhere to talk about the things you’re afraid to say out loud. Somewhere you feel supported, not judged.
As an anxious, perfectionistic, oldest daughter, Virgo (yes, I said it 😂), and a therapist with 8+ years of experience, I’ve brought together a team of Millennials and Gen Zs who are not only skilled and passionate - but who actually pass the vibe check.
I'm really glad you're here. And I’m rooting for you.
– Sam
Hey, I’m Sam!
I started Wild Sage Therapy to create the kind of space I needed in my own 20s and 30s - chill, supportive, real, and full of heart.
So many of the clients we work with feel lost, stuck, overwhelmed (or all of the above). They’re looking for a therapist who gets it, who feels human, who shows up with warmth and personality, and who creates a space where they can actually exhale. That’s the kind of therapy I believe in - and that’s what this practice is built on.
Wild Sage Therapy
I’d been wanting to change the name of my practice for a while, but every time I sat down to brainstorm… nothing. I started in 2018 under the name Samantha Mirarchi Therapy (so original, I know), but it never really felt right.
The perfectionism kicked in hard. I kept waiting for a magical “aha” moment that never came.
Then, in 2023, I started making changes to the practice and suddenly the pressure was on- I needed a name. So I did what any perfectionist does: obsessively researched, scrolled through baby name directories (surprisingly helpful), and made long lists of words I liked. I chose ones that felt aligned with the vibe of the practice and the people we support.
Eventually, Wild Sage Therapy felt like the one. Fun fact: I even had a wild sage plant in my backyard that might’ve nudged me in the right direction (it smells amazing, by the way).
Wild – free, grounded, untamed
Sage – wisdom, growth, healing
Therapy – well, you get it.
What I realized is that I was searching for the “perfect” name, without realizing that I had to define what perfect meant. Wild Sage Therapy became that for me - and now, it’s grown into something even bigger.
